Webinar: Work and Occupational Stress in the Midst of COVID-19
Recorded On: 09/23/2020
The global pandemic resulting from an insidious novel coronavirus (COVID-19) has shaken both personal lives and work lives. Coupled with growing unemployment and worries over job security are unexpected stressors and environmental constraints affecting (untraditionally) remote worker performance. During this session, I will address implications of role stressors, work-family conflict, and computer-mediated connectivity on worker well-being and performance. Additionally, this session will present how individual coping and both interpersonal and organizational resources can help mitigate stressors and prevent strains.
